Dear God help me. We all know how much I totally adored the Warm Bodies book *ahem* yeah… not so much. Judging by the Warm Bodies movie trailer, the feature film looks like it’s going to be just as ridiculously bad as the book.

But you can judge for yourself:

  1. Okay, I haven’t read Warm Bodies yet, but the movie actually looks pretty damn funny. I love that kind of stuff.

And I haven’t read World War Z yet either. The movie looks badass though.

  2. I must say I would watch Warm Bodies just for the cheese factor :)

  3. Warm Bodies the movie looks kinda funny. I’ll have to read the book anyway, because I’m like that with movies made from books.

And same goes for World War Z – still need to read the book, but the movie looks amazing. So I guess I have two zombie books to read this coming year. :)

  4. OMG!! What?!!! Why have I not heard of World War Z before now?!! Ummm Hell yeah!! Totally on my MUST SEE movie list!!! Thanks for sharing babe!! Oh, and Warm Bodies, not so much lol!

  5. I didn’t hate Warm Bodies and the movie looks kinda fun. The hubby is intrigued because of John M. I’m sure we will give it a go. Now World War Z is a no brainer. I feel like I should read the book now though. I better get on that ASAP.

  6. Paula from Reading Lark says:

I really enjoyed Warm Bodies, and I think the movie looks like it might be even better than the book. I am looking forward to seeing it in theaters with my husband; I think he’ll appreciate it, too. Both of these trailers look great to me. :)

  7. Jennifer L says:

I just saw the trailer for Warm Bodies in the theater this weekend, and thought it was a ridiculously stupid story idea. The World War Z movie looks freaking awesome!!!!!

  8. Warm Bodies….. MAYBE a Redbox rental. OR NOT

World War Z… DUDE. Now I know why my hubby is so excited. I need to read the book before June. I’ll grab it off hubby’s shelf. LOL

  9. No. Warm Bodies looks like a fucking freak show!
Now, Brad Pitt *ahem* I mean World War Z looks awesome.
    Brad Pitt toooooo, yum-o

I loved reading Warm Bodies and the movie looks awesome. I hope it’s a nice mix of horror, romance, and comedy.

World War Z looks like a piece of crap with weird swarmy and super fake looking zombies. The trailer had nothing to do with the novel at all except that there are zombies in both.

  11. Hahaha, I am the exact opposite. Warm Bodies looks hilarious and entertaining. It is not a conventional zombie movie (duh!) but who says they have to be? If everything was the same, it would get boring.

And I am sorry, but the CGI in World War Z looks awful. Not to mention, I have heard it deviates from the book so much, and I don’t think that’s a good idea because I’ve heard the book is pretty bad-ass to begin with. But I can’t say for sure because I haven’t read it. I own it though! Soon.

  12. I love it!!! I saw the warm bodies trailer, and unlike everyone else in the theater I hadnt read any of the books. I heard the excitement and thought. maybe this will be a good book. After the trailer I said, “Hell no.” World War Z on the other hand is my kind of story. I’m not quite sure what they’re fighting. Is it zombies? Something else? I didnt read the book so I couldnt completely understand why everyone seemed to be attacking, but regardless, I’m going to go see it! For sure

  13. Alethea says:

Dude, totally had a slapping fight with the author on the Internet but I still loved Warm Bodies and can’t wait to see the movie. Maybe I just love Rob Corddry *that* much.

  14. Jen says:

I haven’t read Warm Bodies but I did go see the movie this past weekend. Trust me, you’re not missing much! It’s not horrible but it’s not great either. It’s slow moving and not much really happens. And I’m a fan of classic zombies and R did ‘normal’ things and it just didn’t sit well with me. Anywho, sorry for the mini rant. Lol!

Here’s hoping World War Z is much better!
