You guys might remember my review of Descended by Blood the other day… Or perhaps you remember my incessant SWOONING over Mirko? Author of DBB and creator of every delicious inch that is Mirko… the AWESOME Angeline Kace is here today!

My Love For All Things Paranormal
(But Mostly Vampires)

I guess you could call me a paranormal junkie. I tend to read only books with paranormal elements in them, but I do bounce around between the different types of paranormal elements, often returning back to vampires. icon wink MY LOVE FOR ALL THINGS PARANORMAL by Angeline Kace Here’s a breakdown of why these are some of my faves:
Faeries: I haven’t read that many books about faeries, butthe ones I have read, I’ve enjoyed. For some reason, though, I never go outsearching for books that have faeries in them. Maybe it’s because when I thinkabout faeries, I see a man is tights, which isn’t very hot to me for somereason.

See? This guy might actually be good looking, but the tights ruin it. All of it. Or maybe it’s the tutu.

Zombies: I haven’t read many books with zombies in them (thatwill be changing SOON. Ashley has converted this chick!), because I’m a suckerfor romance, and zombies just don’t seem like something I could swoon over. However, I LOVE zombie movies. My favorite zombie movie ever is Quarantine. Ithink it creeped me out so bad because that’s how I imagine it would really beif zombies were real. It would be a virus that had gone wrong, or a drug thatmutated. Plus, those zombies were wicked fast, not the slow kind mumbling“Brains, brains” as you run away to safety. Then there’s Resident Evil. I LOVEthose movies. Plus, Mila Jovovich rocks and makes a hard core heroine.

Werewolves:  Oh, man! Ilove werewolves. Their strength and speed, and the way they get all “MINE” overtheir women. It’s kinda hot! It keeps me coming back for more! But there’ssomething that holds me back from loving werewolves as much as vampires. First,I don’t dig body hair. Yes, the whole “tormented man with a beast inside him,but he won’t hurt me because I’m special to him” thing is nice, but thinking ofthe actual “transformed into a furry animal” thing isn’t so hot. Plus, and thismay come from the books I’ve read, when I think of the werewolf dude in his human form, I envision a really muscularly thick dude. Kinda like this:
Which is still hot, but just not REALLY my type.

Vampires:  Vampires area different story. They have it all. Now, I’ve never been a fan of thetraditional vampires; the ones that you read about in horror books or the oneswith the old mythologies that vampires are evil spirits or something similar. No,I’m talking about the modern day vamps. The hot ones that have the strength andspeed like the other paranormal dudes have, but minus the hair.

When I think vampire, I think of a svelte man, with toned abs and enough attitude to drive me crazy, but still with enough of that sweet side to make me melt. Plus, when a guy goes all vampy, this is what I envision:

Right!? It’s like a disease for me. I hear “werewolf”,and yeah, I think paranormal, but the same image doesn’t flash into my mind’s eye. I hear “vampire”, and the above image plays on an endless loop of “OMG! I wantz it!” And I think Mirko has that factor. Or at least he thinks he does. icon wink MY LOVE FOR ALL THINGS PARANORMAL by Angeline Kace

  15. Alyssa@Teens Read and Write says:

The svelte look is my favorite! After the tutu of course.

  16. Yeah fairies and tights go hand in hand. Vampires totally as long as they don't sparkle. Werewolves hot check.Zombies coolness.

  17. StephanieD says:

Not either or for me. I want a werewolf AND a vampire. Girl's gotta have choices. The fairies and zombies can hang out by themselves.

  18. I love the fairy series by Kalin Gow it is called Bitter Frost. Also Carrie Jones has the Need series which is awesome. There are some strong male characters in both series. I don't picture tights at all when I read about them. Just some yummy maleness.

  19. Thanks for the giveaway! This book seems to be an e-book and I don't have an e-reader and I really want to read this book so thanks!

  20. Jess says:
