From Goodreads:

Jocelyn Butler has been hiding from her past for years. But all her secrets are about to be laid bare…

Four years ago, Jocelyn left her tragic past behind in the States and started over in Scotland, burying her grief, ignoring her demons, and forging ahead without attachments. Her solitary life is working well—until she moves into a new apartment on Dublin Street where she meets a man who shakes her carefully guarded world to its core.

Braden Carmichael is used to getting what he wants, and he’s determined to get Jocelyn into his bed. Knowing how skittish she is about entering a relationship, Braden proposes an arrangement that will satisfy their intense attraction without any strings attached.

But after an intrigued Jocelyn accepts, she realizes that Braden won’t be satisfied with just mind-blowing passion. The stubborn Scotsman is intent on truly knowing her… down to the very soul.

Tabatha thought:

Oh Sweet Baby Jesus. Seriously. This book hardcore ROCKED MY FACE OFF! I know I am way late in getting it read & now that I have read it – I am insanely mad that I didn’t read it earlier! Talk about hotness.

Joss is messed up. Not in a crazy psycho lady kind of way – but in a “the past has seriously deluded my thought process when it comes to relationships” kinda way. She doesn’t do them. AT ALL. Packing up her entire life and moving to Scotland to start over seemed like the best thing for her to do. She loves it there & really, who can blame her. Then she finds the PERFECT apartment to rent out & it just happens to come with an awesome roommate, Ellie. Win/Win kind of thing right? Well, when you factor in the HOT, SEXY brother (whom she happened to run into before knowing this) – things get a little bit.. hectic? Crazy? Insane? Freaking amazing to read about? <– Yes to all of this. Since I just mentioned her – let me point out that Ellie is made of EPIC. Seriously, I love this chick icon smile Book Review: On Dublin Street by Samantha Young Joss is her own special person. She is hardcore, knows what she wants and is dead set on her ideals. She is a write – which I LOVE about her, because the write in her comes out in all aspects of her life. She feels with her entire heart (when she opens it up) & it makes her a much better person.

“After last night, there’s no denying the promise of what’s between us. I’m not backing off, so rather than coming up with a new defence – which I’m sure I’d find highly entertaining – just give in, babe. You know you’re going to eventually.”

Braden is all kinds of Alpha Man Candy. Seriously – I wanted to read this book like 5 times, just so I could keep picturing him in my head. He is arrogant, sexy as hell & he knows it & is dead set in things going his way. Like I said – Alpha Male. He is also caring, so very, very caring. The way he cares about his sister just makes me GLAD that my brother cares about me the way that he does. You don’t find that kind of love and adoration around much these days, especially in half siblings. Braden is also a little messed up. Dealing with his past kind of puts a damper on his future “relationships” also. As in he doesn’t really do them. Yea, he has fun and then lets them politely know that it is over – aside from that, the attachment isn’t really there. So it’s no surprise that something happening between Braden and Joss would be a train wreck waiting to happen.

“You’re good with the words, I’ll give you that.”
“I’m good with my hands. Will you let me give you that?”

Said train wreck was amazing to read about though. The feeling of the novel was so epic that you couldn’t help but feel WITH the characters. Seriously, I think I cried about every single time Ellie or Joss did. Then again – half the time I was trying to figure out just how I was going to get through this novel without having to stop every 5 secs to change panties. Yup. It was that HOT. No.Joke. Samantha Young wrote a masterpiece with On Dublin Street. I would recommend this to anyone who loves a good romance with a little bit of spice & naughty all wrapped into one icon smile Book Review: On Dublin Street by Samantha Young

I love you like whoa. It’s possible I tried to make out with this book while reading, but please don’t hold that against me. It couldn’t be helped. I’ll try not to make any further moves on you because I really like you with Joss, but I just need you to know that my love for you is epic.
